In-house design and construction
It’s important to have clear concepts and it’s nice to have colorful drawings and renderings, but the true artistry lies in the construction of your green. With Croden Designs, the artist holds the pencil AND the shovel – the same person who is designing the work is constructing it.
Croden Designs owner and designer, Shawn Croden, has been involved in golf since he was 6 years old. He’s played the game at the professional level, built and maintained golf facilities. He is on the ground and in the dirt, shaping, creating and building pretty much anything his clients want while paying a high level of attention to detail.
Building high-end, synthetic golf projects is very specialized and requires a lot of skill and talent. “It doesn’t matter what it is,” says Croden, “we can build it.”
Synthetic Turf Solutions
At Croden Designs we use premium synthetic turf for residential and commercial landscapes, playgrounds, putting greens and sports fields. Our artificial grass is extremely eco-friendly as it eliminates the need for watering, mowing and harsh weed chemicals.

Why build a custom green?
BEAUTIFUL
A completed golf project becomes a piece of art on your property. Each one is unique and appealing to the eye. Talk about a conversation piece! We work with the natural landscape to create something that not only plays well, but looks amazing, too.

Without a doubt, the most exciting aspect of our greens is the playability. You’ll be amazed at the way the green receives the ball and realistically reacts to the quality of your shot. Not only does this make for a more enjoyable golfing experience, but you’ll be ready every time you take your game to the golf course.
DURABLE
Unlike a conventional golf green, our golf facilities require minimal upkeep – usually just a quick blowing of leaves or debris off of the surface. You’ll rake the bunker as needed, and maybe fluff up the grass with a broom every season, but most of your time will be spent perfecting and enjoying your short game.
SOCIABLE
Think of the golf tournaments you can host! With your new green you’ll be adding an incredible new element to your social gatherings. Imagine yourself having a competition among friends, or sinking a few putts during happy hour – there’s nothing better than being able to golf in your own backyard.
“My putting green is awesome! I love it. As a matter of fact, I like it so much my buddies and I were playing until 2:00 a.m. Friday night. My neighbours probably are not as excited about it as I am. I don’t know yet if it is helping my golf score but I would have to imagine it will. Your Idaho distributors, the Stampers, did a fantastic job. Come out and take pictures since I now have plants, landscaping and even have put a fountain next to the green. Everyone that has played on it thinks it’s great!”
